Personality:
When one looks at Jolyne, some would expect her to be a typical crime doer. With her criminal record, it wouldn't surprise some people to see that she wouldn't do much with her life. However, if one looks a little bit closer, there is a lot more to her than one would think.
Given that she is a delinquent, it comes as no surprise that Jolyne is extremely crass and confrontational. While she might have stolen a car and left a gang, that didn't stop her from screaming at the police and demanding her lawyer later on. Even after being sent to prison, she was still defiant. When the guards told her to strip, she instead just posed naked as a way to say "fuck you" to them. After her father said he was going to help her escape, she was still being rude to him. Even when she meets most of her enemies, instead of talking friendly to them, she just charges head on and demanding what they want from her. When an ally’s face was too close to her, she just angrily remarked how he shouldn't get too close. This might because given how she grew up, she knows how to be direct. After all, when she’s use to dealing with bikers (and perhaps former prisoners), one has to be savvy.
Jolyne is very street smart and knows how to adapt to situations easily. After spending most of her life in the streets, she knows how to get around difficult situations. For example, she has the ability to turn into strings so she knows how to make them work to her advantage. When she realized her abilities, one of the first things she did was to steal some money from the guards when they were being tough on her. She also learned how to make a vest of armor for herself from those strings to prevent any massive damage to herself. She also learned how to make a telephone from said strings and communicate long distance. Speaking of long distance, she is able to catch things from far away as seen in the most intense throw ball ever. She managed to make a bridge outside of herself when she couldn't go in the water. She even learned how to use those strings to stitch up her wounds too.
In addition, living in a prison isn't easy. She needed to learn how to play nice and play with the rules in order to survive a harsh condition. It should also be noted that despite Jolyne living in the prison for a short period of time, she already knew her way around both the men and the women's section of the prison and formed a plan to get her father's disc back. When she had to fight in zero-gravity, she noticed how certain items don't seem to float before realizing her enemy might be around there. In the match against an enemy, Jolyne lead them out in the field after realizing the soil would absorb the water.
It should be noted that despite her appearance, Jolyne can be kind. She will go out of her way to make sure those she care about are safe. At in beginning, Jolyne had to a choice to escape or go rescue a boy who helped her out. Even when he told her to get out, she refused and went after him. When Foo Fighters, a former enemy, was in the middle of dying, she gave her water even when she was trying to kill her earlier. When she said she shouldn't get into an ally’s personal business, the fact that she still went and helped her out says a lot. Although, the most obvious example is when she decided to stay in prison to get her father's stand and memory back even when he said to go to escape without him. It should also be noted that Jolyne's kindness doesn't just extend to her friends and family. If there is injustice, she will do something about it. In prison, she gave money out to someone because she thought they needed it. Upon realizing someone was picked on and the situation around it, she made sure to give the money back to them.
Although, make no mistake. Should she feel that someone crossed personally, she will make them pay. When she grew up being surrounded by other delinquents, her sense of right and wrong can be questionable. When she was sentenced to 15 years in prison, she killed her lawyer believing she was set up by him. While it can be wrong to some, she believed that she was in the right. Although later, when she learned that he was manipulated and got angry since she killed him for no reason. After Gwess promised the both of them to escape jail and after selling her out, Jolyne made sure to never talk to her ever again. Even when she was giving her friendly advice, she still stayed away from her. If she did that once, who was to say that Gwess wouldn’t do it again. In a way, that could be Jolyne simply looking out for herself despite all the difficulties she can create for other people.
Despite how much trouble she gotten into, one thing is for certain. Under it all, Jolyne is just a teenage girl who just wants to have fun. Whenever Jolyne isn't under dire circumstances, she can be seen being friendly and cheerful. When she and two of her friends were out in the courtyard, she can be seen with a smile and offering some advice on how to play baseball. When the prisoners were fighting over a cut line, her response was let them keep going because who wouldn't want a free line? On top of that, she has no trouble talking to other people and making small talk just to learn who other people are as well. Even then, when there were a series of raining poisonous frogs, she remarked how gross it was that they were all over her face. She also remarked to an ally about how she needed to use the bathroom in the middle of battle as well! She also remarked about how embarrassing it was being walked in on during a private moment with herself too.
Jolyne is an extremely determined individual. Even though she was betrayed by her boyfriend, sent to jail for a crime she didn't commit, manipulated by her lawyer, and humiliated? She still managed to come out on top when she realized how serious the stakes were. It also takes a really strong person to fight against an enemy like Pucci, who wants to change world in Dio's name. When she had to face an enemy who was so willing to do everything in his power to manipulate people and change his (and perhaps everyone’s) fate, it takes a pretty powerful person who take him head on. (Later in canon when she accidentally killed her friend, she still had to keep going. She was so headstrong, she protected Emporio by stating he was their future before dying.)
Lastly, it wouldn’t be Jolyne without mentioning her father, Jotaro. Ultimately, he plays a large factor into why she turned out the way she did. While he didn’t mean to neglect his daughter, the damage has been done. He believed keeping his distance would make her safe away from enemies when it only made things worse. Throughout her childhood, she just wanted her father’s regard and resorted to misbehavior just for his attention. When that didn’t work, she simply brushed him aside and thought she didn’t even have a father. During their first meeting in years, she just screamed how much she didn’t want to see him. In fact, she might even blame him for all the problems she had. However, despite her animosity, one thing is for sure. She might not admit it but she does care about him. Why else would she go out of her way to rescue him when she heard those words she’s been dying to hear? After he remarked how much he cherishes her, that’s when Jolyne made up her mind. If he was willing to go through hell for her, then she’ll do the same for him.
While Jolyne has much to learn throughout her canon, it is clear to see that she is on her way to becoming a determined young woman that her friends can look up to. She can be crude and probably way too horny for her own good, she is still learning about herself. She is kind, courageous, resilient, and will do just about anything for her friends.

-'Loosen up' herself to avoid getting hit
-Make a small bullet proof vest
-Make a telephone
-Make a bridge out of herself
-Grab far away things
On top of that, the ability of a Stand also grants its user the ability to endure heavy damage. However, while Jolyne can do many things, she does have two big weaknesses. One of which is how quickly Jolyne can think to counter a problem. If Jolyne can't think of anything, then her ability is useless. Another weaknesses is her heart. If it stops, she's dead for good.

There was only so much Jolyne could handle in one sitting. As she stared at the blank ceiling before her, all she could do was sigh. For a young girl such as herself, how could one even manage to stay in room for so long? While she was in prison and this was how it was suppose to be, how could she not talk to someone without losing her mind?! After spending the past few hours being awake in the middle of the night, there just had to be somebody up with her right?
Getting out of her bed, she simply decided to stare out the window and gave another sigh.
"Man, I'm bored. What the fuck am I supposed to do?"
While there were a few thoughts in her mind, the last thing she wanted to do was get caught doing that again. Not only that, she had a feeling if she created enough noise, she might be locked back into solitary confinement too. And dammit, she didn't want to get shit on her face either. With a heavy frown, she looked at the giant moon wondering how it could shine so brightly against hell on earth. However, the more she looked at it, the more she looked down in utter defeat. For a few seconds, she had pondered if she should but decided why not.
Whatever, she thought to herself, this prison was horrible enough anyway. It wouldn't hurt to give it another try again. Who knows, maybe she could actually get away with it this time around.
